In October 2006, I took the (TEK System) test for COBOL ("Brainbench") and received an "Advanced/Master" placement. Over 20 years working in legacy COBOL. Experience in all phases of SDLC: from initial developer/client; analogy through hierarchal conceptualization, flowchart, coding, testing, data validation, execution, documentation through production. Experience with batch and online programming development needs for client with quality verification screens and user friendly design.

Bowie State University – Bowie, MD

COBOL programmer analyst with primary function as development/maintenance of legacy system for the six institutions overseen by the University Systems of Maryland Service Center. Excellent DCL skills utilizing the VAX VMS/7000.

Maintained the weekly payroll information from Annapolis (Pension, Regular and Contractual) for the six (6) universities. Responsible for the payroll updates and notification of the successful copy to these institutions.

Worked in depth in the successful implementation of the Y2K project for the much needed conversion of algorithms for the potential catastrophe (1997-2001).
