Participated in one day workshop conducted at Codebind Technologies on ANDROID, which includes various versions of android and design of basic android apps like browser, calculator using templates without using programming.

Participated in one day hands on workshop on ARDUINO-WONDER PROCESSOR in 21st Century which includes architecture of Arduino uno board,connecting it to the Computer involves Arduino IDE & drivers installation, upload and running of basic programs like blinking of LED, temperature measurement using thermistor.

Participated in one day Industrial Visit in Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), Chennai and saw various types of antennas like Dipole, log periodic & Horn antennas which are being used in 2G,3G & 4G mobile networks, optical fibers & its previous versions of it and learnt about how a call reaches from a sender to the receiver.

Presented a paper on MOBILE CONTROLLED ROBOT in National conference on emerging trends in Information science & Technology which includes control of a robot using mobile keypad pressing sounds over a call and sense the audio through microphone of the receiver. MINI PROJECT

MOBILE CONTROLLED ROBOT:

This is a simple robot which can be easily controlled by using RF waves used in mobile phone communication using an DTMF decoder and Motor driven IC (L293D) used to sense the audio around that robot using the Mobile phone placed in the robot. This project does not need any Programming as it uses the Audio tones generated while pressing the Number keys on the user mobile phone over a call and does not need any app by using the default dialer app in mobiles.
