Worked on the enhancements of the existing client interface to improve participant data of Bridge Iport Split application.

Business and technical analysis of overnight data processing, same day pledge processing, maintenance, when necessary coding and debugging of the system.

10/1998-03/1999 Consultant at NATIONAL STARCH & CHEMICAL Co.
Production Support Group.
Responsibilities included:
Trouble-shooting and late night support of the FREIGHT ANALYSIS SYSTEM, Financial Reporting, Freight Payment, other subsystems. Two ways communication with end users to identify and correct production problems.
Coding new programs and modify the existing ones (Cobol/Batch, DB2/Batch) to produce period-end reports.
09/1997 –09/1998 Member of a consultant team hired by METLIFE to participate in development and maintenance of the Customer Service Workstation and Letter Generation System. These systems were designed and
developed as new members of the MACS ( Metropolitan Address
Correction System) to provide the users with all tools necessary to
maintain the information about Metlife's customers.
Customer Service Workstation - is a background CICS- DB2 system
interfacing with common data access modules that supported
PowerBuilder front-end applications.
Letter Generation System - the purpose of this project is to give
users of the MACS system a fully automated and standardized facility
for generating MACS related customer correspondence.
Coded new CICS-DB2 programs to display the menus, inquiry and
listing screens. All screens provide the user with data entry and data-
base update capabilities allowing paging, sorting data for on-line
viewing. Coded programs to produce end-period and also year-to-date reports.
05/1997 - 09/1997 Consultant for LEHMAN BROTHERS to modify the Stock
Record System. The modification required to bring together stand
alone COBOL/CICS applications into a structured environment
platform. Created the validation routine for password authorization
to access VSAM files and TRANSID.
Enhanced the Cost To Carry Analysis screens by adding custom fields
which provide new functionality to display and update elements online.
During the project participated in the conversion of multiple programs
from COBOL to COBOL II.
Utilized different debugging tools including INTERTEST and EDF.
The project was finalized by migrating the application from
PANVALET to ENDEVOR.
03/1995 - 04/1997 Consultant for MELDISCO participated in development and
maintenance of the PERPETUAL INVENTORY SYSTEM. The
system is designed and developed to maintain an accurate status of
the inventory items.
Was responsible for coding, performance tuning, testing and overall
preparing the system for production, conversion from VSAM to DB2.
06/1994 - 02/1995 Consultant for BELL ATLANTIC MOBILE SYSTEMS
participated in development and extensive maintenance of the
Customer Management System. The system provides an
automated processing of customer activities for Bell Atlantic and
its partners. Wrote COBOL II batch and CICS programs to provide
DB2 databases and VSAM files access with full capabilities to view,
update and delete data information, and generate reports.
1987 - 1993 STATE BANK, c.Minsk, BELARUS
Programmer/Analyst participated in system analysis, program
design, development and maintenance of the Commercial Loan
System. CLS validates new transactions, updates master files and
generates reports. The responsibilities included analysis and design.
