Michigan Technological University Houghton, MI
MS Electrical Engineering (Control Theory) - GPA: 3.6 Graduated May 2017 Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada, AP, India BE Electronics and Communication Engineering - GPA: 3.2 Graduated 2012 ACADEMIC PROJECTS:
Control System Design for a configurable HEV Powertrain: Designed a basic embedded control system for a series parallel HEV using MATLAB/Simulink and MotoHawk/MotoTune to program an Electronic Control Unit (ECU) and performed real time calibration.
Remote Closed Loop Electronic Throttle Control (ETC) via CAN communication: Developed a control system using MATLAB/Simulink for an electronic throttle body using a discrete PID Controller. The PID control model is programmed into one ECU and sensor inputs are obtained from a second ECU, communication between ECUs established via CAN.
Intelligent Cruise Control: Designed PI control using MATLAB/Simulink for maintaining velocity and an LQR-PID based control for maintaining the headway for an automobile. Fuel Injection Control: Developed a fuel injector control system using MATLAB/Simulink by taking sensor inputs of RPM, Crank angle and temperature. Injection Duration and Start of Injection are controlled and calibrated by programming the ECU.
Control Systems design for basic linear models of real time applications using MATLAB/Simulink: Designed and analyzed control system models for linear mathematical models of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle, Aircraft Autopilot, ship autopilot and Surveillance Drone using MATLAB/Simulink implementing control strategies such as state estimation, LQR, Kalman filter and PID control Acoustic Guitar played by Two FANUC Robots: Programmed Industrial learner robots to play a song on an acoustic guitar with one robot picking the strings and the other pressing the fret board. Programmed Learner Robot using actual teach pendent as a part of Real-Time Robotic Systems course lab requirement. Simulation using ROBOGUIDE software: Programmed and Simulated Industrial Learner Robot using ROBOGUIDE software as a part of Real-Time Robotic Systems course lab requirement. Programming Machine Learning Concepts: Programmed basic concepts of machine learning such as Linear Regression, Naïve Bayes, KNN classifier, Support Vector Machine classifier and Kernel Logistic Regression classifier using MATLAB as a part of requirement Machine Learning course. Bachelors Final Project:
GPS & GSM based Automated Vehicle Tracking system: This project is a microcontroller based system integrated with GPS and GSM systems for continuously monitoring a moving vehicle with GPS co-ordinates. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
