Duties: Inspect construction sites to ensure work is being done by NYSDOT specifications and standards. Conduct concrete air content, slump and cylinder testing as well as soil density/compaction testing. Inspect all aspects of construction including paving, earthwork and drainage, surveying and grading. Write up daily work reports and input attachments and concrete information into site manager, measure work quantities placed and completed by contractor and make payments accordingly.
