Highlights & Skills
As a DNP graduate, I continue to enhance skills of communication, collaboration, and leadership. The four metaparadigms of nursing practice: nurse, person, health, and environment; serve as the cornerstone for adequate assessment in all my patient interactions. Beyond a focus on one-on-one patient encounters, the DNP program has prepared me for involvement in evidence-based practice (EBP), quality improvement (QI), and systems thinking. I will utilize these skills to become involved in the advancement of overall practice for my employer organization as appropriate to ensure we continue to practice and offer the highest level of care to our patients.
