Minor, Industrial Engineering and Operations Research (IEOR) Projects Mathematics: Algebraic Geometry

Researched the topic of Homotopy Continuation Methods, involving finding numerical solutions to components of polynomial systems and numerical path-following techniques to approximate the isolated solutions from the initial solution of the system.

IEOR: Linear Programming

Formulated a linear program that optimized daily operations for a company by performing analysis techniques and optimization techniques. Presented this project to the class with our finalized results of our modeling and analysis. IEOR: Operations Research

Analyzed report details of a portfolio for a hospital to generate the highest profit given the limited resources and budget, by formulating linear programs that optimizes scheduling of workers and resources. IEOR: Industrial and Commercial Data Systems

Developed a prototype Database for a manufacturing company called Stack Plastics. We used Microsoft Access for our prototype Database, SQL language for data extraction, and several outside software programs such as Python and Excel that gave reports on specific data as part of our queries. Computer Science: The Structure and Interpretation of Computer Programs Used Python, Scheme and SQL to construct games, Scheme Interpreter, and Voronoi diagrams by using machine learning tools.

Data Science: Foundations of Data Science and Analysis Performed methods and used techniques involving A/B testing and Classification for projects. Analyzed public data on current topics and performed hypothesis testing in determining the validity and certainty for constructed hypothesis.
