Ensured material availability to meet production requirements of volume, mix, and delivery to customer.

Transferred production of Philips Internet TV from Five Rivers Electronic Innovations in Greeneville, TN to Flextronics International in Guadalajara, Mexico and Philips Personal TV from SCI in San Jose, CA to SCI in Monterrey, Mexico.

Successfully launched new versions of Philips Internet TV: MAT965 (Classic) and MAT972 (Plus).

Successfully launched initial versions of Philips Personal TV: HDR112 (14 Hour) and HDR312 (30 Hour).

Coordinated transfer of manufacturing responsibility for Personal TV from TiVo to Philips.

Coordinated transfer of AOL, DirecTV, and MediaOne set top box production from Hasselt, Belgium to Mexico.

Manufacturing Engineering Manager

Responsible for coordinating activities of contract manufacturers internationally (travel to Singapore, Malaysia, and South Korea) in the production of Microsoft Windows CE computing devices.

Successfully launched North American and European versions of Velo 500 Series Handheld PC with Solectron in Penang, Malaysia and Nino 300 Series Palm PC with Samsung in Seoul, South Korea.

Proactively interfaced with Purchasing and contract manufacturers to decrease standard costs while maintaining quality.
