TITLE : Design of MEMS Based Microneedle for Drug Delivery System Necessity: Academic requirement for Master of Engineering Synopsis
Microneedles have been recently given much attention as a novel way for transdermal drug delivery. In this project, it is planed to design and simulation of MEMS based silicon micro- needles for insertion of fluid into the dermis and subcutaneous fat layer of human skin.The mechanical and fluidic models of the microneedles and micro-pump has to be designed and simulated by using COMSOL MULTIPHYSICS.

Most of the industrial processes are basically multi - input/multi-output
(MIMO)systems. For such systems loop interaction can arise and cause difficulties in feedback controller design. To solve this problem there exist several alternatives that can be centralized multivariable control(LQ, LQR and LQG, robust control, predictive multi variable control, fuzzy controlled) or decentralized control. Recently, the fuzzy logic controller has been used in Control system when the mathematical model of the interested process is vague of exhibits uncertainties.
