The 3st Prize Scholarship for Excellent Student 2012, 2013
Excellence Award of the Fifth Traffic Buildings Model Competition 2013 INTERNSHIP EXPERIENCE:
Fujian Architectural Design and Research Institute, Fuzhou, Fujian, China 2014 Structural Design Intern
Worked in Branch Institute of Structure as an intern. Used AutoCAD, 3d3s and PKPM modeling software to draw and analyze building structure.
Following a bank construction project and focus on using AutoCAD and PKPM modeling software to do construction documents design.
The Building Reconstruction in Fuzhou No 3 Middle school, Fuzhou, Fujian, China 2013 Construction site intern
In-site works including observations and measurement during the foundation and basement
construction phase.
Following the construction process, learn actual operation in construction management. THESIS RESEARCH:
Thesis Research in Metna Co., East Lansing, MI, the United States Thesis Research 2015 - Now
Using indigenous material for construction
Precast sandwich structural reinforced concrete
Determine the mechanical performance of reinforced concrete with different types of indigenous reinforced materials and cement, such as aerated slurry-infiltrated chicken mesh. Tensile test, flexural test, splice length test and nail& screw performance test are some significant aspects of research which be focused on.
Using theoretical knowledge do calculation and compared the result with the experimental result. Cooperated with manager to design the building structure.
The work consists of attending project progress meeting to discuss structure design, schedules, thermal conductivity and other related construction concerns on projects. ACADEMIC PROJECTS:
Verifying the bending rigidity of twisted cable by finite element analysis 2016
Performance based design approach for steel beam 2015
The potential use of coconut fibre as thermal insulation for ferrocement sandwich structure 2016
Role of Fire Resistance Issues in the Shanghai High Rise Apartment Fire 2015 TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Finite Element Analysis, Construction Management Scheduling, Structure Analysis.
AutoCAD, Primavera P6, Matlab, Abaqus, Systat, 3d3s, PKPM, Microsoft Office.
