PROJECTS

GIS Project: Effect of TRIs and Superfund Sites on House Prices in Sunnyvale, CA April 2016

● Extracted real data on house price to points and digitized polygons in Google Earth

● Performed Kriging analysis in ArcGIS and got multi-layer maps out of the software for presentation

● Purged the dataset on house in Excel to make regression analysis on the marginal effect of proximity in distance from superfund sites and distance from TRIs

● Overlaid an interpolated surface in terms of fluoridated and non-fluoridated area with the under five population data to determine whether children under five are affected by the fluoride contamination Statistical Project: Prediction of the Winning Party in the U.S. Presidential Election December 2014 Teamwork with a group of four students

● Used data from the previous election to build the models: k nearest neighbors and rpart

● Made a map that compares the change in votes from the previous year to the year predicted
