FIELD OPERATOR.

Engro Vopak Terminal Limited is a joint venture of Engro Chemical Pakistan Limited & Vopak Holland-one of a leader in terminal business world-wide. It is a bulk liquid chemical storage cum jetty, constructed in collaboration with Messers Noell LGA Germany and Messers China Harbour. EVTL has gained its ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14000 and ISO 18000 Certification. EVTL has successfully completed.

EVTL is currently working at Ethylene Storage tank at -103 C.

Jetty Operation:

Involving ship’s berthing / sailing/ marine loading arms connection, Flexible hoses connection Disconnection’s, ship unloading activities, Monitoring, recording loading/unloading cargo status & Jib Crane operation.

Storage handling and Facility:

Dome roof, cone roof tanks and pressurised spheres and vessels for paraxylene, Acetic acid, Acrylonitrile, vinyl chloride monomer, LPG and MEG.

Direct transfer and bouzer loading / unloading operations.

Nitrogen blanketing system.

Heating system with heating coil exchanges.

Inhibitor dosing system to prevent monomers polymerisation.

Diesel Generators operations.

Rotating equipment Operation:

Start-up of Ethylene reliquefication plant and monitor process variable this plant is consist of screw compressor with refrigerant propane condenser thermosifone, reserve, oil colour & oil distiller, Air cooled condenser & ethylene chiller.

Compression of ethylene vapours by three stages double acting reciprocating compressor with auxiliaries of pulsation dampners, inter cooler, after cooler and lube oil circuit.

Start-up of submerged centrifugal nine-stage pump for transfer of product.

Total unit is operated with pressure of 300 to 400 psi.

And product temperature of -104 C to +150 C.

Utilities of Ethylene:

Glycol water circuit for cooling circulation of compressor, enter cooler and after cooler.

Instrument air compressor for plant instrument operation.

Combuster Operation:

There are three pilot burners for continuing burning with LPG fuel for ethylene vapours.

And one emergency operated burners.
