Infotainment Test Analyst

Project: Acting as a partner to our customers while remaining independent of manufacturers and specific hardware, we conducted testing along the entire V model. We tested individual electronic control units and their embedded software, as well as integrating these control units into sub-systems, complete E/E systems, or even vehicles.

Responsibilities:

Performed black/white validation testing for Apps, Bluetooth connectivity, Tuner, Multimedia, Navigation, USB, WiFi, and bench testing.

Held lead responsibility for FM/AM, SXM, USB, BT and to ensure these features are delivered per specs and maintain quality as expected.

Capable of setting up own bench and required setup (Full/Partial).

Performed bench testing using K2L Mocca as the ring master to control the infotainment system as well as capturing K2L MOST logs to provide developers for bug investigation.

Possess the knowledge to investigate tuner related issues using K2L viewer to identify MOST messages that return in error to better serve developers investigation.

Infotainment Test Analyst II

Project: Currently conduct bench testing as well as in-vehicle testing to provide Quality product. Visteon is responsible for building the CMU Control monitor unit. My team conducted infotainment testing as well as embedded testing.

Responsibilities:

Used Vector Canoe to obtain CAN logs as well as for simulation purposes when performing Bench Testing such as reverse camera, turn signals for lane watch camera, and HVAC.

Develop testing programs that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, or usability.

Testing the launch of new and enhanced vehicle connected services via mobile phone platforms such as Android, iOS or Windows Phone.

Write, manage, and maintain product use-cases and software specifications.
