2/16-3/17 -- Linux Systems Admin, eThink Education, LLC, Baltimore, MD

Remote Position -Support CentOS/Redhat servers via SSH. Used YUM installer to add needed packages to servers. Grant server access, create server user IDs and passwords. Created bash scripts and Cron entries for backup and running admin nightly maintenance. Monitor mem and other vital server stats with Top/Htop. Check dir/Volume sizes via DU and DF. Used VIM to edit network-scripts and setup bonds for binding local IP to server interface. Used Git repo to store and retrieve custom code. Rsync files and create tar distros for installing, upgrading and migrating core Moodle application. Created SFTP and standard user accounts and VPNs for data transfers. Data Migration Project – Scope of work: Upgrade legacy Bugzilla Application from 2x to 4x including mySQL DB and utilize new T4 Solaris HW/zones.
