Systems Engineering Team Leader

The Sales Engineering (SE) team successfully assisted Lucent in the acquisition of $300 Million in direct sales revenue in 2002 in a then distressed Telecommunication environment.

Due to exceptional performance as a System Engineer, demonstrating organizational abilities, and interpersonal relationship management, was promoted to the position of SE Team Leader. The duties consisted of Managing System Engineers who provide Pre-Sales support including: system architecture, equipment proposals, integration and general services, training, and customer presentations, and technical sales support to Lucent Account Executives.

Direct day to day interface with Lucent Research and Development for the smooth rollout of the next generation Lucent SONET platform to BellSouth.

Responsible for the creation, operation and support of the Lucent Technologies BellSouth SE Lab. This lab directly contributed to the BellSouth acceptance of the next generation SONET MSPP (Multi Services Protocol Platform) produced by Lucent. The BellSouth MSPP contract was valued at $210 Million over 3 years to Lucent Skills Client focused
