Project Trainee

• Researched on Remote Control Operations of Multiple Transceivers Through an E1-Radio Interconnect in Communication Division.

• Air Traffic Control was the main theme of the project where testing and monitoring of the received signal is done.

• Firstly, we integrated various modules like control head, interface, RF module, EPM interface into the cabinet and all these

are interconnected using connectors. Through the control head we monitored various parameters of the radio and also the

frequencies used for communication. After integration of the modules, the DLA (data loader application) is located in to the

radio to configure the radio settings. After DLA is located tests are performed on the radio in order to check the proper

functioning of it. If any errors are found in any of the modules the respective faulty module would be identified and replaced.

• Using these radios through E1-RICs we established a reliable communication from a remote location through RCUs.
