EXPERIENCE SUMMARY:

Mr. Tynes is experienced in multiple technical aspects of weapon/munition systems support. He has designed, documented, and installed shelter modifications on four programs. He has in-depth hands-on experience with electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic system design, application, installation and troubleshooting. He has significant warehouse operations experience to include inventory control, shipping, receiving, inspection, and storage. He has experience in the handling, movement, and disposal of hazardous materials and explosives and is skilled in all aspects of hazardous waste management. He has a CDL and experience with operating forklifts and heavy equipment.

His integrated product support experience includes supply chain management, purchasing, technical publications, training, fielding, field service representative support, and test support. His maintenance experience includes preventive, scheduled and corrective repair at operator, direct support and general support levels. He is experienced in load testing, calibration, hydraulics, and inspection of military equipment. He determines malfunctions, read drawings, and makes required corrections. His military training included the guidelines, procedures, and schematics of the weapons and the diagnostics of the firing systems. He programs, schedules, and implements daily operations for a team of technicians.

1997 - 2017: Senior Technician, Tec-Masters, Incorporated, Huntsville, Alabama

He was lead technician in the design, system integration, and production effort for the Electronic Repair Shelter (ERS), the S280 (IFTE) ECU shelter modification, and the S280 transition to IOTF van modification programs all in support of Program Manager -Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE). On the ERS program, he was responsible for updating the documentation/manuals to reflect the new configuration and operational requirements. In addition, he performed duties as the lead technician for five employees and performed quality control for all work performed by subcontractor personnel. He removed and replaced all electrical wiring for the ERS Semi trailers and he rebuilt/refurbished all systems regarding air over hydraulic brakes and overall suspension to make it road worthy. On the S280 (IFTE) program, he designed and installed the modification kit to replace the existing ECU with a new ECU. This effort included mechanical and electrical engineering skills. On the S280 transition to IOTF van modification program he was the lead technician. His was responsible for design, documentation, and installation.

He was also lead technician for HIMARS Shelter integration along with integration of Field Support Representative (FSR) Shelters. He designed, developed, documented, produced, and fielded HIMARS maintenance shelters. He developed a Modification Work Order (MWO) to formally document the modifications. He installed most modification kits at TMI Huntsville facilities but some were modified at the Depot and/or at field units.

He provided senior technician support on the EFSS/ITV program. The EFSS is 120mm Rifled Towed Mortar and the ITV is a family of light tactical vehicles both used by the USMC. He was instrumental in the design, documentation, and installation of US Government modifications to the French produced 120mm Mortar. He was field support Rep (FSR) for the EFSS/ITV systems traveling thru out the country. He is also responsible for assisting in coordinating, implementing, and executing the functions associated with government property accountability requirements including inspection, inventory, storage, transfer, disposal, and shipping activities. He is now working 3PL on getting quotes and ordering parts for the 3PL contract.

1987 – 1997: Lead Technician, Multiple Companies, Huntsville, AL

He was lead technician responsible for all phases of construction, remodeling and home repair. This required an in-depth understanding of blueprints, electrical schematics and Alabama building codes. He read and interpreted blueprints and drawings for both structural and electrical installations. He was responsible for ensuring all blueprints were followed and that quality control was maintained. He performed purchasing, estimating, and accounting functions. He was also responsible for reading and designing the blueprints for new construction to ensure adequate material was on hand to perform the jobs.

1979 – 1986: Maintenance Technician, United States Army

He supported missile/munitions and related ground support equipment operation, maintenance, and repair for the Lance and Tow/Dragon missile systems. He was responsible for the handling, preventive maintenance, and repair at the DS/GS level; load testing; calibration; hydraulics; and inspection of military equipment. This required an in-depth understanding of electronics and hydraulics. He was trained to determine design deficiencies, malfunctions, read drawings, and make required corrections. He received military training on the guidelines, procedures, and schematics of the weapons and the diagnostics of the firing systems to provide in-depth knowledge. He was responsible for assisting in the coordination, implementing, and executing the functions associated with government property accountability requirements including inspection, inventory, storage, transfer, disposal, and shipping activities. He supported the handling, movement, and disposal of hazardous materials and explosives. He provided maintenance support on 30&60KW generator sets.
