Java SeeBeyond Support Engineer
Description:
The main objective of the module was to create the conversion map for converting data from the EDIFACT format to the flat file format. ICAN 5.0.5 was used to create the conversion map using the mapping specifications to reflect the conversion as in the AMTRIX 4.4.1 system. This module involved the creation of Trading Partner profiles using eXchange Partner Manager (ePM) via a web Interface, setting up simulation and application zones and passing the messages via AS2 (HTTP).
The eXchange centers on the concept of a delivery channel profile for each trading partner relationship. Delivery channel profiles are configured within the eXchange for use by runtime components.
Each profile specifies which B2B protocol(s) to use, where and how to receive outbound and inbound messages from country/trading partners, how to configure and secure the messages in this channel, and how and where to deliver the outbound messages to trading partners.
