Worked for an application which handles the Internet instant credit card processing. An individual can apply for the credit card through online by entering the customer information. The member details are recorded in the Magnum decision engine and it sends the information to bearus. Depends upon credit history and other history (like income, age rating) decision engine will make the decision of the applicant and a welcome kit will be released to member through the internet and the credit card will be sent to the member within 10-15 days.

Responsibilities:

Create review and execute test cases that ensure the application performs according to business requirements and technical specifications.

Created the detailed project schedules, conveying clearly defined milestones for test preparation, execution, and compliance reporting activities and deliverables.

Worked with requirements teams to define test cases and maintain traceability.

Extensively used HP ALM for Test Planning, Test Execution, Test Results and Defects Management.

Participated in requirements analysis and test case development activities.

Assist with test plan and test case development.

Responsible for reviewing the test cases designed by the team and export them into the HP ALM.

Performed all aspects of verification including Functional, Structural, Regression and System Testing.

Had a privilege to Work with the same team as earlier for the new functionalities as one among them were Representments, Database Partitioning, Purging and Archiving, Real-time alerts.
