RF Engineer

Design wireless cellular macro networks

• Search ring identification for new cell sites

• Cell site equipment selection including antennas, coax, combiners/diplexers and other ancillary equipment

Design C-RAN/ Small cell networks for high capacity and terrain challenged areas as well as special events

Work with Network Field Engineers and System Performance Engineers to optimize LTE network- improve coverage (RSRP), signal quality(CINR) to provide increased capacity and better throughputs

Description: Simulated Bit-Error Rate (BER) dependency on physical RF parameters like range, receiver and transmitter antenna height.

• Design, Simulation and analysis of Microstrip Patch antenna Platform: Ansys HFSS

Description: Microstrip patch antenna was successfully designed, simulated and analyzed using Ansys HFSS. The radiation pattern of the designed antenna was observed and the performance parameters like gain, insertion loss and input impedance were obtained.
