• An oil and gas based industrial automation solutions company, I acted as a lead member in all phases of New Product-Development Lifecycle, from conceptualizing new product ideas through sketching, creating 3D models, developing engineering designs, building prototypes, testing, supporting production first article inspection and final assembly release. The projects I’ve worked brought in new customers and market, as well as improving/updating the current product line for increase ease of use, extra functionality, and cost savings.

• Acted as Project Manager for several in-house R&D projects where I was responsible for resource planning, time and cost estimation, risk analysis, creating charts and schedules, monitoring and reporting progress, documentations, creating presentations to customers, verification and validation, working with vendors, and overseeing production release.

• Create and maintain all internal engineering drawings, product bill of materials, and assembly processes. Also deeply involved with other documents such as Technical Schematics, Test & Assembly Plans and Procedures, User Guides, Product Data Sheets, and more.

UCSD DESIGN PROJECT 2010

Designed, Built and tested a steady-state uniform environmental temperature controller for long-term cell-culture microscopy observation for the UCSD Center for AIDS Research. This is a prototype Medical Device Equipment used for sustaining cell growth with uniform and consistent temperature throughout the viewing area. UCSD RESEARCH PROJECT 2010

An extensive research project to understand human comfort in the urban environment. The project took massive data including fluctuations of wind speed, albedo, and radiation to calculate the whether a location is suitable for human inhabitation.
