The project is involved in QA test, execution of the automated regression suite of Re-Imagine platform built as a part of Sales and Marketing IT. It also involves maintenance of the script developed for automation of the regression suite of Re-Imagine platform. Manual testing is being done on the Web applications as well as Standalone applications built for this platform.
Responsibilities:
Work mainly consists of QA test execution of regression suite of re-imagine platform and running automation scripts

Title : Functional Testing for Core Module of OPICS Plus
Client : Misys Software Solutions, Bangalore
Role : Test Engineer
This was on-going activity for the OPICS product. For every patch or hotfix released to the client(s), functional and regression testing is performed for the components which have been fixed or modified. The work involved various modules like CORE (SWAPS, OTC, Call and Notice & CORE.)

Opics Plus handles the entire Foreign exchange instrument lifecycle. Opics Plus processing includes deal capture, pricing, position management, Profit & Loss (P&L), exception based workflow, payments, confirmations, accounting, reporting and multiple off-the-shelf interfaces with market data and electronic dealing providers. The project involved conversion of Customer scenarios in FX module to repeatable regression test cases by translating them into unique deal workflows with complete bi-Directional traceability. It also involved implementing a new test case strategy and formalizing re-usable format with the framework for converting the customer scenarios to end-to-end deal workflows.
