Modify manufacturing equipment technology to streamline energy data retention / production logging, as networked to central server. This effort supported the lean manufacturing and six sigma programs.

Maintenance Manager 2001-2003

Managed sawmill facility, machinery, equipment, rotating stock, and 3 shifts of millwright leads, millwrights, electricians, carpenters, and oilers for 24/7 operation. Responsible for mills improvements and project management.

Championed employee safety commitee. Implemented employee safety awareness and audit programs resulting in a 15% decrease in work related injuries within the first year.

Implemented a Laser Beam array diminensional measurement system for incoming logs. This enabled the tracking of incoming logs individually for size and length, which resulted in maximum efficient cuts per log for stud or diminsoinal lumber.

Installed a belt log feed conveyor in place of a chain feed rail system, resulting in 50% less maintenance, and a quieter and smoother running system.
