1/2015 – PRESENT WASTE MANAGEMENT SUSTAINABILITY SEVICES, Spring Hill, TN

Resource Compliance Manager in support with the OEM customer, General Motors, LLC six union, 2,000+ employee facilities manufacturing powertrains and automobiles. 15 associates are under my supervision.

Maintain environmental and safety compliance including Waste Management Sustainability Services, General Motors, LLC, and the site EMS/ISO programs

Responsible for the identification, control, shipments, and point of generation with hazardous waste, special waste, non-hazardous waste, medical waste, universal waste and used oil.

Perform waste sampling for analytical lab reports to identify waste constituents and characterizations

Submit special waste certification form, evaluation application, fee worksheet, check request, and submit to TDEC and ensure vendor is on approval list.

Hazardous waste profiling with TSDF, waste characterization, LDR, waste acceptance letter, waste stream identification with Infotrac, TDEC hazardous waste stream report form #WSR.

Prepare reference material for team consisting of drum labeling and marking requirements, packaging and closure requirements, properly completed manifest, appropriate ERG number associated with waste in accordance with RCRA and DOT regulations.

Add or update waste streams to the Waste characterization matrix, hazardous waste inventory database, and drum tracking log

Track monthly waste shipments, ensure waste manifests are returned in specified timeframe, and prepare end of year required annual regulatory reports

Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence with RCRA, TSCA, DOT, and OSHA regulation including satellite accumulation area and universal waste storage inspections

Identify best practices to assist customer in reducing waste volumes, increase operational efficiencies, optimize equipment usage, landfill fee initiative, and generate cost savings.
