This included, but was not limited, to the outsourcing of electronic manufacturing services, software; contract services and the procurement of all materials required for TrellisWare’s engineering product development and production manufacturing operations; while insuring the highest level of quality goods and services; at the lowest total cost; in a timely manner; to meet internal customers’ development timelines, while supporting production schedules to meet the external customers contractual commitments.

LightPointe Communications, Inc. - Senior Global Supply Chain Manager

August 2005 to May 2006

Managed all aspects of LightPointe’s supply chain in the support of their product development and manufacturing operations. Transition the Free Space Optic Link-head supply chain, previously located in Dresden, Germany to San Diego, California; while expanding the Supply Chain capability to support a growth in production from $5 million;

Manage a team of purchasing professionals responsible for supporting the development and implementation of strategic plans to support the procurement of Electro-mechanical and Mechanical commodities across all phone platforms manufactured by KWC. Managed the l supply base for all electro-mechanical; (LCD’s, PCB’s, Audio; etc…) and mechanical commodities; (Plastic Injection Molding, Packaging, to ensure the receipt of quality components and subassemblies, at the lowest total cost to support KWC's, KMX's, and EMS suppliers' production schedules, while maintaining established corporate raw material inventory levels. GDE Systems, Inc. (General Dynamics Corporation, Electronics Division) – Sr. Subcontract Administrator

May 1986 to July 1995

Responsible for the planning, scheduling, inventory control, and procurement of complex, high dollar subcontracts for sub-systems, (i.e. Optical Test Instruments, Phase Noise Analyzer, Pneumatic Function Control, Power Control System and Interface Test Adapters), and the administration of the outsourcing of CCA assembly utilizing MRP II, cost/price analysis and negotiation skills to ensure the acquisition of quality products and services, on time and under budget. Acted as a Material Program Manager accountable for the acquisition of all material and services to support the GDE Systems' Columbus Operation, (from San Diego, CA), where the B-2, F-16, and SINCGARS Radio TPS programs were developed and supported. Purchased electronics components; (i.e. Capacitors, Resistors, DESC IC's, Specification and Source Controlled IC's, standard and custom connector systems and components); in support of the production of circuit card assembly production lines for the B-1B, F-111, F-16, M-1 Tank, programs.
