Duties, Accomplishments and Related Skills:

*Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Picture Archiving System (PACS), VISTA Radiology\Nuclear Medicine Package, Voice Recognition System, Tera-Recon Image Reconstruction System and for reviewing, analyzing, and making recommendations to the service line manager on all current or future technical procedures and system design related to medical diagnostic imaging.

*Responsible for the quality of the imaging programs and the productivity of the equipment as it relates to Imaging products and subsequent patient care issues.

*Responsible for user training sessions on PACS imaging techniques and procedures.

*Responsible for identifying training opportunities and providing instruction to technical and medical personnel on using application software.

*Responsible for developing programs to insure that quality provisions are planned, developed and implemented to identify, prevent and correct unsatisfactory conditions and elements which influence the regulatory correctness and responsiveness of transactions and services.

*Responsible for providing policy guidance and advisory assistance to agency managers in the development of strategies for applying quality management to core business areas and workflow processes.
