WORK HISTORY IN IT FIELD

Senior Developer (April 2009 – Present) – Burlington, MA

Work in a small team with FAA’s electronic engineers to develop, maintain and support web based analytical presentation and storage of Computer Aided Engineering tools using IIS and Oracle database. Participate in FAA’s Security Certification & Authorization Package (SCAP) process to satisfy agency’s security requirement. Write scheduling functional requirement. Design and test document to help the team moving between stages in software development life cycle.

Developer (October 2004 – March 2009) - KENROB Information Technology Solutions, Inc., Burlington, MA

Converted existing software written in Microsoft’s Visual Basic and Visual C++ to .NET web applications.

Added GIS (Geographical Information System) capabilities to the existing CAEG (Computer Aided Engineering) product using ESRI and Google Earth technologies.

Converted business logic stated in FAA’s Airport Design Advisory into XML web services.

Product developer (December 1997- April 2004) - BMC Software, Waltham, MA

Lead an offshore team located in Pune, India responsible for developing Graphical User Interface portion of the a UNIX product for monitoring and predicting performance of computer systems.

Provided customers with software patches of multiple producst released in different versions of all the major UNIX Operating Systems (Solaris, HP-UX, Linux, and AIX).

Software Engineer (October 1996-December 1997) - Cabletron Systems, Inc., Nashua, NH

Developed/Tested/Documented software used for monitoring network resource usage.

Computer aided engineering and graphics programmer (October 1991-October 1996) - WT Chen & Company, Waltham, MA

Worked as a member of Federal Aviation Administration's Computer Aided Engineering and Graphics team to develop computer software for selecting radar sites and to analyze obstructions around airports.
