A&P Engineering Company Kigali, Rwanda July 2015 to August 2015

Intern with A&P Construction Ltd company on a 9-storey building project “PROPOSED A&P OFFICES”

Applied theoretical and practical knowledge on the construction site and was involved in personnel management by conducting job analysis on a daily basis.

Coordinated with project engineers, managers and estimators to complete preconstruction request for information (RFI) and worked on the structural analysis and design of the building.

Created hundreds of submittals from project specification book including cost-of-materials estimations, report and document tracking, and project documentation.

VACCO Engineering Kigali, Rwanda June 2016 to August 2016

Intern with VACCO Engineering in partnership with Water for People-Rwanda on a project to bring water in the rural area of Gicumbi district

Collected field data using a GPS and gained experience in preparing maps and plans.

Performed hydraulic calculations, Pipe sizing for water supply line, and making a bill of quantities.

Demonstrated skills and ability to design water supply system from concept through completion.

Gained experience using AutoCAD and ARCHICAD software.

Cultivated excellent relationships throughout assigned territory, and worked closely with process engineers for follow up and evaluation, and presented reports on trial materials according to designated schedules.
