Profile

Several years of business experience as plant manager, CEO & member of the board of directors, coupled with 19 years of hands-on SAP SD/LE/QTC on 30 projects. Strong knowledge of SAD SD, as well as all areas of QTC, from organizational structures, to sales documents & order types including quotations, contracts, 3rd party, consignment, rush & cash orders. The Project was running behind schedule and there were serious concerns about going live deadline. In an attempt to expedite the deliverables, I was appointed as team leader.

With my inspiration and leadership, we worked around the clock to make up lost time and went live on schedule.

Responsibilities/Deliverables:

Full cycle rollout of a global implementation to Israel. The rollout was managed out of India and Malaysia and I was appointed the Israeli site project manager.

In addition to my project management duties I was responsible for all aspects SD module from Order to Cash.

Hand on configuration, implementation and post live support.

Key processes: Quotation to cash, pricing, rebate agreements, free goods.

Responsibilities/Deliverables:

This was my second term in Netafim after being with them from July to December 2000.

Specific responsibility for US & Australia subsidiaries in all aspects of SD from Order to Cash. Inbound & outbound EDI.

In addition, I was the solution architect of a major global transportation & shipment cost process. I identified 44 different shipment scenarios for outbound and inbound shipments including sea freight, air freight, land by truck or train, transportation chains & courier.

Hands on configuration, user training, design & supervision of user testing, master data and pricing migration, cutover plans and post go live support.

Achievements:

Saved $1.2 million in shipment costs implementation by convincing the company to implement standard SAP transportation & shipment cost, rather than purchasing an external package.

We had quotations for external packages at $1.5 million. I Implemented standard SAP for $300K.

Defined over 200 pricing conditions, multi-dimensional scales, break-weight and weight to volume conversions.

I designed an automated shipment and shipment cost document processing by using a dedicated user-friendly screen as a one-point access “cockpit” to all transaction related to the transportation process such as delivery, shipment, shipment costs, purchase orders & reports and thereby saved hours of daily manual processing.
