WORK EXPERIENCE

Canvasser

Keeping Maricopa Safe - Phoenix, AZ - October 2016 to November 2016 This job was temporary, but what it involved was a application called "MiniVan. This app was given to us by the company and we were required to download it into our phone. Every morning we would meet at the office. We were given a location number which would pull up a map on "MiniVan" when typed into the app. That map would show us the location and houses that we were scheduled to canvas on those given days. A minimum of 70 doors was manditory to canvas each scheduled work day. Mover

Edens Moving - Denver, CO - January 2015 to October 2015 My job description involved loading and unloading trucks. In the process I learned to assemble, disassemble, and wrap furniture. I'm experienced with packing and keeping enventory. Ive driven box trucks doing shuttle moves. I also have experience with pallet jacks, warehouse work, and I've also done long carries from city to city and state to state.

Roofer

Southwest Roofing - Phoenix, AZ - March 2015 to July 2015 As a roofer my job involved different hands on labor that dealt with a variety of different material from dense deck, Iso boards, wareproof vapor cover, and membrane. The job involved physical labor as well that included lifting, climbing, and pulling 100+ pounds across a 20 acre roof. Warehouse Worker

UMS - April 2007 to June 2010

I started this job on a 90 day probation period, which was manditory for all employees. My job involved picking, packing, and loading. At the beginning of every scheduled work day the employees were given a list to pick. Once we were done picking we'd move to another location of the warehouse which is the packing area. After everything was picked and packed we would load whichever UPS or FedEx truck that pulled up to the warehouse, then that was the end of the day. The routine was pretty much the same everyday. The only reason I stopped working there is because they went out of business. They specialized in storing art supplies. This gave me a opportunity to educate myself on different art utensils and what they were used for, which was pretty exciting considering the fact that art has always been a hobby of mine since a kid.
