May 2016 – August 2016: Production and Quality Control Intern at Compounding Solutions

- Worked under supervisor to operate plastic extrusion machine under recorded process to produce medical grade plastic compounds. Additionally worked to ensure quality of both produced and incoming materials by running tests based on customer and company requests. January 2016 – May 2017: Emergency Medical Technician for Boylston Fire and EMS

-Responsible for responding to emergency situations, treating, transporting patients in an emergency ambulance setting.

-Responsible for responding to emergency medical and trauma calls throughout campus, whether alone or with other members under my supervision. Worked as Deputy Chief and was responsible for managing intersquad affairs.

Project Experience:

Major Qualifying Project:

- Worked with a local pharmaceuticals company to study small scale mixing in reactor vessels, scaling in reactor vessels, and developing a method of determining mixing time using two thermally differentiated water streams.

Senior Chemical Engineering Design Capstone:

-Working in group to produce design plans for distillation unit. Design tasks included drawing and creating PFD, PID. Tasks have also included interpreting other PFDs as well as economic analysis of existing systems.

Chemical Engineering Class Projects:

-Worked with small groups of students on tasked assigned. Tasked included distillation column and separation unit design, as well as other process design and analysis related tasks. Interdisciplinary Qualifying Project:

-Worked with a local NPR radio station in developing updates to their Android application to increase app usability.

-NREMT certified, licensed in both ME and MA

-Educated in the use of Microsoft Office Excel, Aspen, and Polymath software
