Implemented zone based firewalling and security rules on Palo Alto Firewalls. Deployed AT&T and Verizon Carrier Vendors onto the Cloud Infrastructure. Automated a variety of routine system administration tasks. Remotely troubleshoot Cisco and Fortigate firewall configurations for various colocation clients.

Liquidity Services – Data Center Engineer II Oct 2013 – Aug 2015

Managed the VoIP Cisco environment to include documentation and training of helpdesk staff for troubleshooting via Call Manager (CUCM). Lead successful migration of Exchange 2010 to Office 365. Implemented and managed a MPLS network for 8 remote sites including Canada for newly acquired entities then deployed a VMware Virtual Desktop Infrastructure for the employee base to access domain resources. Configured, troubleshoot and upgraded Checkpoint Firewalls for Managed Clients. Resolved and updated Tier II support tickets for managed Firewall clients. Configured Policy Rules, DMZ and VDOM’s for multiple managed hosted clients as well provide Smart Hands service of Windows / Linux servers. Managed and created both remote-access and site-to-site VPN tunnels in a primarily Cisco environment. Monitored network infrastructure (latency, jitter, dropped packets, line errors, remediate issues).
