EXPERIENCE:
Brocade. San Jose November 2005-Present
EDVT Engineering Technician
Duties: Bring-up, debug, test and system qualification of Brocade circuit
boards and systems. Performing circuit testing, environmental testing,
and stress screening both on engineering prototypes and on customized
products. Also, responsible for assisting with test equipment configuration,
setup and operation. Perform electrical measurements of complex printed
circuit board assemblies. Configure systems to run specific diagnostic
routines. Write test plans and procedures to conduct tests on the Brocade
products along with fully documenting and recording test results and issues.
If design issues are detected, needs to investigate and track down the issue to
root cause and ensure there is a corrective action. Working with cross
functional team members to complete the entire root cause analysis and take
appropriate corrective action.

Duties: Built prototype, initial board bring up, document all tests.
Troubleshoot and repair different products. Work closely
with development engineer to perform functional, and system
level testing. Other duties include recording data, maintaining lab

Duties: Test and assemble electronics’ optical fingerprint device. Build
electronic circuits, mechanical modules, optical assemblies and custom
prototype. Perform quality inspection and testing of all RMA units,
complete disposition documentations, and perform assigned rework.

pick up at local suppliers.

Duties: Test the main product of the company. Responsibilities
included: Writing test plans, initial board bring up, installing and uninstalling
products on different platforms, thorough testing in functional, feature,
regression, stress methodologies of alpha and beta releases to ensure the
product meets all specification. Troubleshoot system, subsystems, and
modules. Document all tests, troubleshoot and repair. Work closely with
development engineer to perform functional and system level testing.

Duties: Major responsibilities were followed engineer’s instructions to test
and build prototype boards. Also, setting up test equipment, performing
measurements, debugging and repairing hardware. Support software
engineer for their hardware problems. Work with HW engineer to perform
risk, stress, thermal test, and failure analysis for new products. Identified,
isolate, and troubleshoot failure down to component level. Interface with
manufacturing floor to resolve all the differences and problems with new
release products

Engineering Technician
Duties: Help engineer with telecommunication PCB bring up.
Analyze the failure and repair T1 fiber optic of telecommunication products
such as DDM PLUS, FT2, FT2ER… on both system and board level. Build,
test, and troubleshoot prototype and test fixtures. Support technician with
technical aspect.
