I am currently participating in the development of an information system to manage,process, and analyse hydrological, hydrogeological and climatic data using spatial databases and GIS . The system is being designed to have the capability of querying and processing data from multiple types of DBMSs(Oracle, SQL server, Postgresql .

Create data processing program to process data before import them into the 3D finite difference groundwater model (MODFLOW )

Create data processing program to process the data resulting from MODFLOW and convert them to water balances on monthly and annual bases.

Create an information system manage and process data for controlling Purchase Department activity . The System consist of an compact SQL database.

Director of the Water Resources Department, Arab Center for the Studies of Arid Zones and Dry Lands (ACSAD) 2011-2015, . In 2005 .

He joined the Department of Water Engineering in the Faculty of Civil Engineering at Damascus University, where he still teaches water management, hydrogeology and hydraulics to under- and post-graduates.He has contributed to national water strategy, river basin policies and water policy development at the local and national levels. Since 2005, Dr Seif has also worked for the Syrian Dutch Water Cooperation as a

resident adviser. He supported establishment of the Raqqa water training centre and led the

capacity-building programme in integrated water resources management.

GIZ expert, He is the former director of water resources studies department at the Arab Center for the Studies of Arid Zones and Dry Lands –ACSAD (2002 -2011). Before that Dr.Droubi worked as an expert in the field of water resources management at the same department at ACSAD from 1978 and up to 2002. He was involved in most of the projects and studies that ACSAD has implemented and conducted in the field of water resources assessment, evaluation and management in all the Arab countries. Abdullah Droubi has been involved in several regional and international projects regarding climate change impacts, Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) and published more than 100 scientific papers, reports and studies. Since January 2012 he has supported the ACCWaM programme as a regional consultant.
