Consulted in the design, development and installation of world-wide rail transit systems. Supervised onsite installation on projects which included: BART – San Francisco, CA; DART – Dallas, TX; MTA Culver Viaduct – New York, NY; MARTA – Atlanta, GA; Portland Tri-Met – Portland, OR; West Rail/East Rail – Hong Kong, China; East London Line – London, England; Inchon Metro – Inchon, Korea; Oresund Tunnel – Oresund, Denmark; Copenhagen Metro – Copenhagen, Denmark; Trupo Tunnel – Taipei, Taiwan. Originated and developed value engineering proposals and procured permanent materials for this $17M MARTA extension. The project included .07 miles of resiliently supported track, 6.3 miles of ballasted mainline and yard track on concrete ties, 6.9 miles of direct fixation track, 78,000 LF of contact rail and 22 turnouts. Comtrak, Division of L. K. Comstock and Co., Inc. 1988 - 1990 On this $14M rail project, our two man team oversaw the removal of 13 miles of all rail components, ballast and cross ties and the subsequent replacement with new Azobe ties and CWR, as well as the demolition and replacement of sidewalks and street paving.
