Assigned duties to shop including assigning machines to employees and setting time frame for job completion. Kept shop running smoothly by utilizing cost effective processes.

Customer service duties included handling all customer relations dealing with all quality issues, product issues, delivery dates as well as any other customer relations.

Purchasing – Sole buyer for all material and tooling bought for company and for customer orders per bill of materials.

Quoting – In charge of all quotes that came to the company. Quoting included negotiating the best price for materials such as metal, hardware and tooling used for customer products. Negotiated the best price for inbound supply shipments using common freight carriers.

Scheduling duties included working with customers regarding early, on time and late deliveries. Kept customers aware of late deliveries due to reasons such as vendor backorders.

Document control duties included reading and understanding customers' blueprints and drawings. Ensured that production had latest revisions as well as a good understanding of all drawing notes and materials.

Manually programmed all parts to be manufactured on Strippit FC1000 and FC1250 Turret Punch Press using G codes. Knowledge of bend deductions, flat patterns, tooling and some machine repairs.
