Managed a 10,000+ volume library serving an elementary and a middle school. Initiated and managed projects to ensure that the library meet user needs. Delegated tasks library assistants and appropriate school personnel to meet project needs. Successful initiatives included reorganizing the library space to create areas for multiple student groups; organizing and cataloging a 200+ volume collection of professional books for teachers; implemented collection development projects as needed to ensure the collection included desired materials and to remove out of date and unused materials.

Coordinated with teachers and administration to schedule library lessons, programming, and checkout times that allowed all students at both schools at least one bi-weekly visit to the library.
