WORK EXPERIENCE

Curriculum Developer, Lead Training Analyst, CACI

Single point of contact for language course curriculum development projects at a government language training facility. Responsible for needs assessment, design, documentation, layout, publication, and accreditation process for strategic languages taught in the Pacific AOR. Routinely liaised with national level stakeholders to standardize delivery of content through platform courses and via distance learning. Sole Mandarin Chinese curriculum developer across the enterprise. Served as the subject matter expert for instructional design (ISD) and copyright infringement interpretation and tasked with obtaining permission where copyright did not support fair use determination. Continually use project management principles to coordinate curriculum development and recertification projects, both classified and unclassified.

Regional Operations Manager, US Army

Oversaw operations for all Resilience training within the Pacific Northwest region. Developed more than 300 Resilience Trainers, ensuring understanding of material and community engagement. Reviewed delivery and content of course materials and analyzed effectiveness of both instruction and faculty performance. Coordinated enrollment in trainer certification courses and facilitated course instruction. Additional or concurrent roles during this period include Company First Sergeant, Battalion Command Language Program Manager (CLPM), Battalion Master Resilience Trainer (MRT) and Corps MRT Course Facilitator.

Chief of Workforce Readiness, NSA Hawaii

Responsible for technical and professional development training for a Directorate of joint-service and civilian personnel. Directed internal technical training programs and coordinated courses offered via external vendors and organizations. Ensured positional certification training was conducted to standard, properly supervised and continuously updated. Served as senior training advisor to the Director and as Army senior advisor and primary liaison for all Soldiers in a large Division. Had direct input on budget requests and researched funding sources for additional training needs. Additional or concurrent roles during this period include Army Senior Enlisted Leader (SEL), Battalion Master Resilience Trainer and Company Command Language Program Manager (CLPM).

Chief Military Language Instructor, Asian School I and Multi-Language School, DLIFLC

Responsible for the training and well-being of over 400 government service students and 175 staff and faculty, occupying 17 training facilities. Principle advisor to the Dean on all student matters and senior liaison between the school and military service units. Developed and enhanced military-specific language curriculum and conducted professional development classes for teaching staff and school administrators. Additional or concurrent roles during this period include Mandarin Chinese Basic Course MLI, Russian Basic Course MLI, Battalion Command Language Program Manager (CLPM) and TRADOC Platoon Sergeant.

Chief of Readiness and Assessment, ADET NSA Hawaii

Responsible for maintaining and safeguarding positional and technical training programs for all personnel assigned to NSA Hawaii; supervised all initial and required annual training for newly-arrived personnel. Ensured consistent formatting and integrity of positional training courses across all divisions. Led periodic review of training packages, as well as certification of departmental subject matter experts. Served as sole Adjunct Faculty for Developing Objectives and Test. Additional roles included Requirements and Tech Manager and Language Analyst.
