PFX is a web based application developed and administrated by AHM for their Clients. Legacy PFX is having one-one relation with Application and Client, in Nextgen PFX is one to many, i.e. one application for multiple clients. AHM Client sales representatives use PFX site to setup new meeting requests, check progress on the planning of existing requests and close out programs once completed. Closing out of programs generally consists of recording attendance and rep-incurred expenses. Requests are initiated from a PFX site. A normal meeting usually has a primary speaker and can have other speakers as well, and most of the people invited to these meetings are doctors. The point of these meetings is for the pharmaceutical company to promote their new products to doctors, in the hope that doctors will start prescribing them to patients, setting up the meeting place, inviting all attendees, following up with any requirements, both pre- and post-meeting.
