Allscripts is a medical records application that runs on a Microsoft SQL platform. The team I was on supported virtual, cloud, hosted and on-premise racked or free standing SQL servers, terminal servers, citrix servers and clusters. Our case tracking was processed using SFDC (SalesForce.Com). My team was responsible for server performance by evaluating tools such as SQL Server Studio, Task Manager, Performance Monitor, SQL Performance Dashboard and working with end user clients.

SPT is a financial software developer, I worked in the Quality Assurance and Software Development department to document the various server labs used to test and troubleshoot the application software development. SPT had over 300 virtual servers defined in their VMWare environment. I worked with a team of administrators to document the various lab configurations to present a requirements document for a potential move of the VMWare environment to Schwab’s data center in Phoenix. I also worked with the systems team to introduce the Microsoft PowerShell VMWare Plugins and wrote a number of PS scripts to help manage the hosts and virtuals for the VMWare environment. Another project I worked on was converting some .BAT scripts to PowerShell to meet the security needs of the I.T. compliancy mandate.

Client - FHI360 - Domain server (300+) hardening for an international Windows 2008 R2 environment. I wrote a number of PowerShell scripts for monitoring and analysis. Deployed Group Policy templates for security and hardening. Tenable Nessus 5.0.1 was used to ascertain the compliance needs.
Client – BridgeTree – Network security analyzing system logs – tool Logrhythm which collects server log data and compiles it into a database for alerts and reports. Also use Tenable Nessus for a Windows 7 Hardening Compliance check along with Microsoft’s Security Compliance Manager.
