Prepares deposit slips for cash received at the branch office daily, and deposits all collections to the bank not later than the next banking day;

Ensures proper safekeeping of the patty cash fund, and processes replenishments of the petty cash fund when it is almost depleted;

Maintains and updates the petty cash book to monitor petty cash fund balance;

Prepares checks and/or bank withdrawal slips for fund releases based on check disbursement vouchers duly approved by authorized officers such as the Branch Manager, Finance Officer and Executive Director;

Releases the checks to respective payees others than the program members, and ensures that the corresponding check disbursement vouchers are signed by the payees under “Received by” upon receipt of the checks/cash, and requests for official receipts, as maybe applicable;

Encashes checks and/or withdraws cash for release of net loan proceeds to the program members, and ensures that the Loan Disclosure Statements are signed by the members upon receipt of the cash during the Loan Disbursement Ceremony;

Stamps “PAID” the petty cash vouchers and check vouchers, as well as their related supporting documents, upon payment of cash or release of checks to respective payees;

Transmits processed and “PAID” check disbursement vouchers and supporting documents to the Branch Bookkeeper for recording and filing;

Maintains proper safekeeping of passbooks, checkbooks, issued and current official receipts and other pertinent documents;

Prepares Daily Cash Position Reports and other required reports for submission based on the reporting plan;

Monitors and prepares branch monthly summary of attendance;

Acts as supply custodian;

Performs other tasks as maybe assigned from time to time by the Branch Manager and Finance Officer.
