Profile: I have many years of broad based architectural design and construction project management experience with skills to overcome challenges and deliver effective solutions. I have held various roles, ranging from Designer to Programmer, Project Architect, Project Management for a variety of projects. Including, educational facilities, historical restoration, residential projects, government buildings, scientific laboratories, corporate offices, private homes and naval vessels. He has designed over three million square feet of interior space throughout his career. I have participated in major restorations of numerous prominent landmarks in New York City and has been responsible for all aspects of construction administration and project management. I have also been responsible for the restoration and modernization of twenty-four school buildings for the New York City School Construction Authority.

The Kalahari Mixed-Use Project

Owner’s Representative for an HPD Cornerstone project, which includes 240 units of combined affordable and market-rate residences, commercial and community spaces and sub-grade parking garage, within a total envelope of 400,000 S.F. The project is to receive New York Green Building Tax Credits.
Pier A

Provided Owner’s Representation in the pre-construction phase for the preservation and adaptive use of Pier A for the Batter Park City Authority. The $30 million budget includes $34,000 S.F. to be developed as a “core and shell” LEED Silver project for future te4nants. The complex regulatory hierarchy requires project oversight of the landmark status and review/approval by federal, state and local agencies as well as the numerous agency approvals required for a project over a major waterway (Corp of Engineers, NYS DEC, New York Harbor Commission, US EPA, OSHA, etc.)

Public School 59

Architectural Project Manager for the conversion of a 53,000 S.F. former nurses’ dormitory, built in 1917, to an elementary school for 480 children. This extensive renovation was completed on time to a very tight schedule. The school contains 22 classrooms, a full roof-top playground, gymnasium and cafeteria with kitchen facilities. The school will be one of the first schools in New York City built to meet New York City Green Schools Guidelines (similar to LEED).

Architectural Project Manager for the construction administration phase of an 85,000 S.F. medical facility. The complex contains state-of-the-art blood processing and research laboratories. The project received an award from the AIA.
