Project name: Detection of Brain Tumor using Segmentation Techniques.

Organization: Malla Reddy Institute of Technology and Science.

Role and Responsibility: Worked as a Team Leader.

Brief Summary:

It deals with the implementation of simple algorithm for detection of size and shape of tumor in brain MR images.Generally,CT scan or MRI that is directed into intra-cranical cavity produces a complete image of brain .This image is visually examined by the physician for detection and diagnosis of brain tumor . However this method of detection resists the accurate determination of stage and size of tumor. To avoid that,this project uses computer aided method for segmentation of brain tumor by applying k-means algorithm .
