PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY

I have worked in the several jobs in the sales and customer service industries. I have excellent

people skills, focusing on what the consumer needs and utilizing feature advantage benefits sales

approach. Three important attributes I gained from my experiences at these jobs are knowing how to

work as a team in a productive, efficient manner; how to positively interact with coworkers, breeding a

positive work environment; and I’ve learned how to anticipate peoples’ needs. I’ve always been great at

anticipating others needs but, I’ve found that in customer service, it’s always best to know my client and

how I may be able to go beyond what is expected. I believe these traits, along with my creative, out of

the box thinking and problem solving skills, I would be an asset to any company.

EDUCATION

1.HOUSTON COMMUNITY COLLEGE SYSTEM – SPRING of 2014 to PRESENT

I am currently attending HCCS, studying in their drafting and design program, pursuing degrees in piping and civil

Classes I have already taken include technical drafting, basic and intermediate AutoCAD, mechanical drafting, pipe drafting one, basic Microstation, and P&ID

2.SANFORD-BROWN COLLEGE – FALL of 2007 to SPRING of 2009

Studied the anatomy and physiology of the human body, specifically specializing in the cardiovascular system

Learned how to perform ultrasounds of the heart, known as echocardiograms, as well as electrocardiograms or an ekg

3.UNIVERSITY of HOUSTON and HCCS – FALL of 2000 to SPRING of 2005

Various basic courses taken while still deciding a career path

WORK EXPERIENCE

1.WEST HOUSTON MEDICAL CENTER – MAY 2005 to AUGUST 2014

My duties consisted of checking patients in for their exams, patient transport, helping technologists developing film as well as assisting technologists and doctors

Much of what I did was about customer service, and making sure our patients left there with a smile

Also, I performed echocardiograms (ultrasounds of the heart) part-time

2.VARIOUS SERVICE/RETAIL INDUSTRY JOBS – NOVEMBER of 1998 to APRIL of 2005

WORKED FOR THE FOLLOWING COMPANIES: Starbucks, Walmart Optical, Pizza hut, Good Eats, House of Engraving, and most recently working part time at Jonathan’s the Rub and window installation for a contractor through Renewal by Anderson
