BRIEF OF MAJOR PROJECTS HANDLED:

HARWEEL PHASE 2AB PROJECT & ALNOOR MGI PROJECT WITH PDO

Both Projects are highly challenging from a quality and safety aspect, due to high process pressure (up to 580 bar) and very high H2S levels (up to 70,000 ppm). Harweel phase 2AB Project is a world demo project for SHELL in terms of H2S Injection with 550 bar high pressure. Since the threat of fatal gas (H2S) is very high, the construction of the plant is being carried out with highly comply Explosion Proof requirement, exotic materials and FPD (Flawless Project delivery) from design to commissioning stage. The project designed to extract the crude oil by “Enhanced Oil Recovery System” by high pressure gas injection.

CAREER SUMMARY:

Well Experience in O&G, LNG / MGI / High sour (H2S gas Injection with 550 bar pressure) plants in Oman, Qatar & India. Responsible to ensure & control all E&I field Inspection & testing activities including development, management, implementation and monitoring of the Quality Management System (QMS) and Compliance to ISO 9001:2008 safely define, execute, commission and handover the Project on schedule. Familiar applicable International codes such as IEC, ISO, IEEE, AISI, ANSI, ASTM, NEC, NEMA, API, NACE, & etc.

Having extensive hands on experience in E&I Equipment Installation, Testing, Calibration, Pre-commissioning & Commissioning of HART & Foundation field bus type Process control instruments such as (PT, TT, DPT, Displace / Interface / Radar type LT & Vortex / Ultrasonic / Electromagnetic, coriolis / Mass FT) and all kinds of valves FCV, ESDV, MOV, SRV, PRV, Chock valve & IPF valve (Mokveld). Calibration & Installation of F&G instruments such as BGU, Smoke detector, H2S detector, Gassonic meter, IR open path detector, Hooter & Beacons. Installation of Instrument control & Electrical panels (FCS, IPS, FGS, IFB, MIMIC, PLC & DCS) Automatic well tester (AWT), Chemical Injection skid (CI Skid), High Pressure Unit (HPU), Well Head Control panel (WHCP), RTU, RPC, load cell, vibration switch, DCS/ PLC & ESD system. Ensure all field Inspection such as Cable trenching, laying, Separation between IS, NIS & Electrical cables, Glanding Termination. Ensure Instrument tubing hook up, Testing of Impulse & Airline tubing.

Material Inspection, Installation, Pre-commissioning of Transformers, LV/HV Switch Gear, Indoor/Outdoor DB, Emergency DB, Flood lights, Earthing system, Heat Tracing System, MV/LV Motor & Busduct, MCCB, Outdoor lighting, Junction box, Battery bank UPS system, Breakers, Power distribution boards, lightning protection system, Cathodic Protection System for Tank & U/G pipes. Inspection of 11kV, 33kV Overhead Transmission lines installation and erection (Erection of HT & LT poles, Stringing). Inspection of MV/LV power, control and signal cables installation & testing. HIPOT test for HV Cables.

Inspection of Swich gear panel such as installed as per Panel installation drawing, components physical damage, cubical working properly, rack in-out, Name plate matching, individual feeder tag and rating, Isolator ON-OFF, Busbar tightening, push button functioning, indicator lamp, Ammeter/Voltmeter functioning, and Testing such as IR test, winding resistance, feeder function check, polarity check, phase sequence, CT&VT, primary & secondary injection & etc. Testing of Transformer such as IR test, winding resistance, vector group, winding temperature, tap changing & etc.

Ensure all the instruments are installed in suitable Zone area classification (Zone 0, 1 & 2) as per Hazardous identification drawing & Instruments are Comply with “EX” requirement such as Flame proof (Exd), Increase safety (Exe), Non sparking (Exn), Intrinsic safety (Exia/ib) & verify ATEX certification code.

Fiber Optic cable (FOC) blowing, OTDR test, Splicing, termination & End to End test. Installation of Telecom panel including FOPP, Manhole & HDPE duct including crush & deformity test to ensure the integrity of duct.

Review & identify design contradict with actual site condition such as PEFS, ILD, FLD, I/O list, Cause & Effect, F&G Alarm & Trip setting, Electrical & Pneumatic hook-up, Hazardous identification drawing, Instrument Engineering Data sheet, Cable block diagram, E&I installation drawing, Cable schedule, Schematic drawing, Electrical Equipment typical installation drawing, Electrical SLD, Earthing layout, MTO, MAS, MR & Vendor Package drawings / documents / FAT Certificates.

Technical assist with Commissioning team during loop check, functional check, logic check, cause &effect / safe guard check, system override & etc. Assist to prepare pre-commissioning “B” check sheets, coordinate to testing of logical sequence during start-up and shut down based on cause & effect sequence & Experience in PSUA (Pre-Start up Audit) with client.

RESPONSIBILITY HANDLED:

Review Contract Quality Plan (CQP), Project Specification & Drawings to understand the scope of work and prepare / organize to carry out inspection for E&I equipment installation, testing and commissioning as per client requirement.

Generates Quality Control Procedures and Inspections & Test Plans including the associated Installations & Tests Inspection Forms/Checklist for the installations, testing and pre-commissioning activities.

Responsible to review sub-contractor QCP / ITP & Ensure that the work has been carried with approved AFC document & Standard drawing at site. Also Providing Periodic Training & guidance to Sub-contractor personal to achieve the maximum quality in E&I work at every stage of work at site.

Liaised with the Client’s representative, Vendors, Project Site Engineers/Supervisors to coordinate quality issues including engineering queries, and the schedule of inspection/testing activities and ensure that communication are exist and maintained, and provide assistance when requested.

Responsible for day to day planning and handling / organizing E&I QC’s for Inspection and testing activities at site (as per Hold/Witness/Surveillance & Review Points).

Ensuring Various stage of Inspection (Materials/Installation/Final Inspection) activities & Rise UOSD report if any non-conformance identified as per Project Specification & Vendor drawing / Documents.

Involved in Quality walk-through with the end-user/customer & monitoring /recording the punch points to identify quality related issues & implement best practices etc.

Acting as “Q Captain” (E&I Integrity) of Flawless Startup Initiative, a new system introduced by Shell for the smooth commissioning and startup of a Plant/Project & & ensure E&I materials are preserved as per the project requirement.

Verify the ATEX Certification and ATEX code of the given material, IP Rating, Temperature class & Gas group.

Participate in a team for Technical Performance Audits & ensured that adequate QA/QC system is in place and confirmed effectiveness.

Prepare internal/external audit schedule, Audit Notification-checklists, Audit Reports and follow-up of NCRs and CAPARs until final close-out to ensure compliance to the IMS requirements. Also well versed in quality improvement techniques, resolving issues, carrying out root cause analysis.

Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure quality performance in different areas of work development and at various project Phases and review and resolve technical matters related to quality management and quality control plans, ITPs, QA/QC documentations.

Attending FAT & SAT inspections of E&I Packages & record if any non-conformance identified as per Project Specification & Vendor drawing / Documents.

Preparation of Quality Plan(Incoming, In process & Final), Quality, Quality Assurance Certificate, Compliance Certificate, Assembly Manuals, Work Instructions, Test Procedure, Test reports for Products.

Involved in the punch-listing of the completed construction activities (Punch-List –A&B) & ensure closing of the punch items by the construction team before Mechanical Completion.

Provide technical guidance and QA/QC support for procurement activities, design reviews during FEED, detailed engineering, procurement, fabrication, testing, installation, commissioning and start-up stages of the project.

Maintaining all QA/QC Records (Inspection Requests, Materials acceptance & Installation Inspection Check sheets, Test Records, NCRs, etc) at site as per project requirements.

Develop and maintain QA/QC lessons learned register & follow up on action items and maintain status register

Implementing & Maintain MMD (Monitoring & Measuring Device) to ensure that all Calibration Master Equipment & Testing Equipment’s are having Valid Third Party Certificate.

Supervising Document Controller at site and implement effective Document & Drawing Control system.

Coordinating for walk down with Commissioning team to close the System & sub-system in CCMS / WINPCS.

Total handing over of system with construction / commissioning dossiers, as – built documents & completed punch list.
