Account processing Firm Side system processes various accounts related activities/transactions generated by different trading front-end systems/sub ledgers. This system produces the daily business sheet which reports on account activity showing opening balances and positions. This information (except the balances) is loaded into the FWA (Firm wide activity) database which is access by Bridge system.

APFirm also feeds daily to General Ledger with daily transactions at account level. On a daily basis it checks all firm-settled (1031) inventory positions. It also produces a stock loan report which shows the 1028 and 1031 positions for all firm accounts. APFirm performs the balance check for G/L against A/P, in this way A/P keeps a track of customer’s debits and credits while the G/L tracks the Firm’s debits and credits.
