Clearwater, FL 250 hours

Walk in care provided to all age demographics. Minor injuries and illnesses treated including on-site testing for strep, influenza and urinary tract infections, diagnosis and appropriate plan of care. On-site pre-employment, sports and school physicals conducted. PPD testing, flu shots, pneumonia vaccines administered. Use of in house EMR, billing and coding as appropriate for presenting diagnosis.

West Coast Family Medical Care - Acute and Chronic Problems

Clearwater, FL 400 hours

Family practice clinic providing care across the health care spectrum. Focused on appropriate assessment techniques, obtaining comprehensive medical history or focused as appropriate, charting complete encounter. Managed chronic health care issues, diagnosed illness and in collaboration with physician determined plan of care. Scheduled, reviewed and assessed radiological images including CT, MRI and x-ray results. Organized charity event for hospice facility.
