Environment: SAP Single stack PO 7.5, Zycus, Multiple SAP ECC systems

International Game Technology PLC (IGT), formerly Gtech S.p.A. and Lottomatica S.p.A., is a multinational gaming company that produces slot machines and other gaming technology. Also IGT manages many state and provincial lotteries in the United States and also had contracts with local and national lotteries in Europe, Australia, Latin America, the Caribbean, and Asia.

This project is for integration Zycus – a cloud based procurement software suite with SAP

Single Stack SAP PO 7.5 has been used for integration.

IGT landscape has two SAP ERP instances and Zycus has been implemented with both ERP instances.

Zycus API is based on REST API using JSON format.

Responsible for detailed design, development and documentation of interface in PO.

Developed interfaces utilizing REST, SOAP, IDoc, SFTP and RFC adapters.

Worked with basis to setup IS_URL configuration in SXMB_ADMIN to route new interfaces to PO system as against existing PI system used by other interfaces.

Worked with ABAP team to work around SPROXY limitations with 2 PI/PO systems in landscape

Zycus supports two factor security protocol for authentication and authorization like most of cloud based software. This meant each interface has at least two steps for authentication and authorization followed by REST API calls for data retrieval and posting. So all interfaces developed utilized Netweaver BPM.

Netweaver Developer Studio has been used for interface development.

Outbound interfaces are implemented using Netweaver BPM, ABAP Proxy and REST API.

Inbound interfaces are implemented using Netweaver BPM, REST API, RFC and IDoc.

We have implemented below interfaces using Netweaver BPM, REST API, IDoc and IFlows. All interfaces are real time interface with instant updates from SAP to Zycus and vice versa.

oMultiple Master data interfaces for SAP to Zycus

oPurchase Order from Zycus to SAP

oGoods Receipt from Zycus to SAP

oPO invoice from Zycus to SAP

oNon PO invoice from Zycus to SAP

oSupplier from Zycus to SAP

oEmployee data form SAP to Zycus

Each interface includes multiple synchronous calls between systems. For ex, in case of PO inbound invoice we received invoice data from Zycus into SAP and SAP would update the invoice number from SAP to Zycus as a synchronous interface in real time.

Worked with basis team to setup ALE distribution model, partner profiles, ports etc for all IDOC interfaces

Multiple custom complex UDF routines have been developed to calculate hash, message decryption and message digest etc.

Dynamic configuration has been utilized to use single BPM for multiple master data interfaces from both SAP instances to Zycus

Incoming messages from Zycus has been routed to appropriate SAP instance using Receiver determination.

Developed custom adapter module to alter standard REST message sent from PO to Zycus.

Experience in debugging BPM process utilizing existing tracing and log mechanisms in NWA

Expertise in setting up anonymous and SSL authentication based Sender REST End points.

Utilized additional HTTP headers extensively set using pattern variable replacement
