Experience

NHPL

Upgrade t-Mobile and Sprint 4G service and antenna on top of towels. I demo all of the old antennas,radios, and jumpers and replace them with new ones. I run hybrid cables from the bottom of the tower to the top using a hand line pulling it up by hand. Connect everything together and test each item with test equipment and a test team. Lineman

Hand dug 6ft deep and 29" wide holes by hand using slap sticks. Bond and framed pole.

Operated a digger and set pole in hole, plumed it while still sitting on digger with my apprentice 90 degrees off my boom, and then tamped it in.

Hot gloved 69 kv 12.9kv power lines.

Operated 100 foot Crain, booming two men in the air for hours at a time. Wrap wood poles with bird wire from top to 12 ft from the bottom. Remove phases with power on or off from old pole to the new pole. Hung Transformers and wired them up wye, Delta, and three Pot Banks. Tech Lineman

Grounded tower by beating 2 to 3 ground Rodes in the ground using a Hilty gun. Set up bucket trunk, operate bucket truck and begin replacing glass bells with polymers. Performed hot sticking on a 345kv line.

Helped pull wire, dolly it in, soft side it, and jack it up to the desired psi and pinned it in. Remove old towers and build a new one piece by piece. Back drag the right away on a dozer removing tire tracks. Grounds man

Worked as a Groundsman rigging up items on a hand line and pulling them up by hand to Lineman. Climbed towers ranging from 100 foot to 320 feet tall and unpinned insolators during insolator change out. Replace deteriorating steel and bolts from towers. Climb to the top of the tower and replaced static shoe and stinger. Watched every move made by my lineman and asked why he made them on the way to the next structure.
