I am employed by Anglo-American Thermal Coal in South Africa as a maintenance fitter. My Role as a fitter includes maintenance and repairs to all plant equipment.
Key Roles
Inspection and Maintenance this includes the upkeep of all sewage plants and water reticulations to plants and office areas
Installations. Installation of new pipe-lines pumps and motors
Inspection and Maintenance upkeep of line maintenance and plant efficiency
New installations Motor and pump systems, including hospital and village main reservoirs and pump stations. line installations to new and existing areas
Contractor management, maintenance and shutdown. Oversee and inspections of all contractor work
